Parametric Product Development Group is a truly unique product design and engineering services firm serving a wide variety of clients within the medical device, appliance, consumer product, fabrication and heavy equipment industries.

Originally started as a consortium between design and manufacturing entities to assist independent inventors with their design projects, we have expanded our customer base to include corporate clients. We fill the niche between traditional technical staffing firms and costly brick-and-mortar product design firms.  Parametric PDG’s mission is to break down the barriers that prevent small companies, start-ups, and larger firms alike from finding capable product development talent and resources when they need it. 

Parametric does this by:

• Working either by project on an as-needed basis, instead of requiring a fixed duration contract

Parametric PDG generally works on a project by project basis.  However, we have found that some of our customers have ongoing needs for part-time engineering support. So, we also offer fractional rates.  For example, if a client consistently needs 40 hours of engineering support per month (i.e. 1/4 person), we offer discounted rates for a 6-month service commitment. This allows us to dedicate resources to a particular customer and provides for level scheduling to minimize downtime for optimum efficiency and lower cost.
